Wellbeing Strategy Consulting Support

An embedded Wellbeing Strategy provides your organisation with the strategic alignment and evidence-based framework required to integrate psychological health into your everyday operations. By moving beyond standalone initiatives, we help you build a resilient workforce and a culture where every individual has the opportunity to flourish.

Our consultancy process begins with a collaborative discovery phase - incorporating senior leadership, psychosocial risk software, and in-field site visits - to establish a robust, data-led baseline of your current workplace culture. These insights are then validated during an alignment workshop to develop a prioritised wellbeing roadmap that effectively bridges the gap between regulatory compliance and sustained organisational performance.

How does it work?

We support organisations to build mentally healthy workplaces through a structured, evidence-informed model.

1. Understanding your psychosocial risk through a robust assessment and data-led insights
2. Delivering targeted interventions that address your identified risks and build capability across your leaders, teams and organisation.
3. Embedding long-term capability and behavioural change through embedded programs, ongoing support and internal capability uplift.

Case Study: Strengthening Leadership Capability and Mental Health Literacy in an Operational Environment

Acacia partnered with Sandvik to design and deliver a tailored Mental Health for Leaders training program as part of the organisation's broader workplace wellbeing strategy. The program was developed to strengthen leader capability, improve mental health literacy and equip leaders with the skills and confidence to support employee wellbeing and have meaningful conversations about mental health in the workplace.

Delivered virtually through three-hour interactive workshops, the training was customised to reflect Sandvik's operational environment. Content, language, delivery style and scheduling were adapted to meet the needs of frontline leaders, including flexible session times to accommodate early-start operations and practical workplace scenarios relevant to their day-to-day responsibilities.

Key Outcomes
• Increased leader confidence in initiating and navigating conversations about employee mental health and wellbeing.
• Equipped leaders with practical skills and strategies that were immediately applied within the workplace.
• Encouraged greater dialogue around wellbeing among leadership teams and peer groups.
• Received strong participant feedback highlighting the relevance, practicality and operational focus of the customised training.
• The success of the program resulted in ongoing quarterly delivery, ensuring existing and new leaders have continued access to the training.

Challenges Overcome
As part of Sandvik's wider strategy to reduce stigma around mental health, the organisation sought to strengthen leaders' confidence in supporting employee wellbeing and normalise conversations about mental health across the workplace. The program needed to resonate with leaders working in an operational environment while accommodating varying work schedules and learning preferences.Acacia collaborated with Sandvik to develop a tailored learning solution, adapting the content, language, delivery style and scheduling to suit the organisation's operational context. Practical workplace scenarios and interactive discussions ensured participants could immediately apply their learning within their leadership roles.

Value Adds
• Designed and delivered a bespoke Mental Health for Leaders program aligned to Sandvik's organisational wellbeing strategy and operational environment.
• Tailored workshop content, workplace scenarios and language to maximise relevance for frontline leaders.
• Delivered training at flexible times to accommodate operational requirements and maximise participation.
• Created practical, immediately applicable learning that enabled leaders to confidently support employee wellbeing following the workshops.
• Established a sustainable leadership capability program, with quarterly sessions enabling ongoing development for both existing and newly appointed leaders.

Conclusion
The Mental Health for Leaders program demonstrates Acacia's ability to work collaboratively with organisations to design targeted wellbeing solutions that build leadership capability and support broader organisational wellbeing objectives. The continued rollout of the program reflects both the quality of the training and its practical value within an operational workforce.
